ABOUT
Emerging from the collective creative output of D. Cullen Nolan, Russ McIntosh, & Adam Glazer, Phoenix Tree Publishing is dedicated to providing quality art, fiction, and history at an affordable and fair price, in a variety of online and traditional formats. Gone are the days of mere hardcopy books, although Phoenix Tree can’t wait for them to be available. Blogs, Books, E-Books, Online Art Galleries, Interactive Art & Maps; not only are there a variety of formats to explore, the idea is to integrate as many as possible into a single creative project.
As we make a project available, it will receive its own ‘site-within-a-site’, where everything creative related to it will appear. The first of these multi-format projects is Spy in the House of Fitzwalter, the first story of the Lost Crusader Saga. Currently, the Spy in the House of Fitzwalter page offers a free preview (the 1st 100 pages PDF format) of the novel, the author’s description and thoughts about the story, a ‘secret journal’ written blog style by the main character Robert de London, and several maps representing Robert’s travels.
Very soon, online and trade paperback editions will be offered up for sale, artistic prints from the book by Adam Glazer will be posted and offered, the maps will become interactive, and a graphic/comic version of the story may be developed. The goal is to present the project in a variety of different ways, to enhance the storytelling experience, and present it to as wide an audience as possible.
While Spy in the House of Fitzwalter represents the collaborative creativity of D. Cullen Nolan, Russ McIntosh, and Adam Glazer honed into a single project; all three gentlemen have a wealth of work to offer the world. Upcoming projects include Russ McIntosh’s Glimmer, a light-hearted fairy tale for those who’ve grown up (but not too much). Russ is not only an author, but an iconoclastic artist as well. We can’t wait to see how many different images people will discover in his work. Adam Glazer will, no doubt, be offering more of his incredible artwork as well. D. Cullen Nolan has a plethora of fiction and history books to work on, and Phoenix Tree always has its eye out for like-minded, up and coming artists.
We hope you enjoy the site and all we have to offer.
